Piscataway, N.J., Jan. 26, 2009 – Four of the industry’s finest service technicians have been named winners of Trane’s HVAC Parts & Supplies 2008 Outdoor Adventure Program’s grand prize – a year-end trip giveaway to one of four locations.

The winners are: Ryan Asselin of Industrial Building Services in Kingsport, Tenn.; Brad Gamroth of Bassett Mechanical in Madison, Wis.; Steve Kostas of Comfort Air, in Grand Junction, Colo.; and Kevin Roy of BG Mechanical Service in Springfield, Mass. Each winner selected one of four trips:

• Desolation Canyon Ranch & Raft trip on the Green River in Utah
• Teton Covered Wagon & Horse Adventure in Jackson Hole, Wy.
• Deep Sea Shark Fishing Trip in Key West, Fla.
• Kayaking, Camping and Whale Watching Adventure at Point Adolphus, Ala.

More than 20,000 technicians and service contractors entered the drawing at participating Trane HVAC Parts & Supply stores for the chance to win one of the grand prize trips.

Trane’s "Outdoor Adventure" Program was a series of promotions designed for service technicians and contractors to experience an outdoor adventure and additional prizes. It offered service technicians and contractors weekly, monthly and quarterly incentives ranging from gift cards to a Weber grill and an "Outdoor Adventure" camping package. Those that visited a participating store were able to register to win the grand and quarterly end prizes.

Win the Grand Prize in ’09

Trane HVAC Parts & Supplies begins its 2009 "Championship Season" program on Feb. 1, 2009 that will run through the end of November 2009. The Champion Season invites customers to team with Trane for successful seasons of savings in 2009.

Divided into three seasons, customers have an opportunity to "race for savings" from February – April, are given "home run" offers from May – August and can "catch" incredible deals from September – November. Each season offers customers new chances for incentives on seasonal parts, supplies and tools.

Outdoor Adventure – 2

The first season from February - April offers the choice of mechanics’ gloves or a tool bag with a purchase of more than $400. In April, each of the 191 participating locations will give away an Ingersoll Rand Cordless ¼ Impactool kit. Service technicians and contractors can register solely by visiting a local participating Trane HVAC Parts & Supply location to register for the no-purchase-necessary prize package.

In addition to seasonal offers, participants can register for the 2009 grand prize by signing up when making a purchase at a local participating store or at www.hvacsupply.com, where you can also find all contest rules and eligibility requirements.

The 2009 grand prize is a trip for two to "THE BIG GAME" in February 2010 in Miami. The trip includes: airfare, hotel, ground transportation and much more. In addition to the grand prize, four additional winners will be able to bring "THE BIG GAME" right into their living rooms with a 42" flat screen TV and stereo surround system.
